Planning a funeral can feel overwhelming, and I’m here to make the process as gentle and straightforward as possible. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about my pricing and what’s included in my service. I believe in transparency, kindness, and creating ceremonies that truly honour the life of your loved one — with no hidden costs or confusing fine print.

My fee covers everything from our first chat to the ceremony itself — including time spent getting to know your loved one’s story, writing a bespoke tribute, liaising with your funeral director, and leading the service with care and heart.

I review my fee annually to make sure it reflects the time, energy, and love I put into each ceremony — but rest assured, there are no hidden extras or surprise costs.

Do you charge for funerals where the deceased is a child?

No. I do not charge for funerals where the deceased is under 18 years old. These ceremonies are offered with compassion and care, and I believe families should never have to worry about costs during such a heartbreaking time.

What does your fee include?

• A personal meeting or call to learn about your loved one
• A fully bespoke ceremony script
• Liaison with your funeral director
• Travel within the local area
• Leading the ceremony on the day

How does payment work?

Payment can be arranged through your chosen funeral director (with prior agreement), or the family can pay me directly once the booking is confirmed. Whatever feels easiest and most comfortable for you — I’m happy to work around your preferences.

Do you require a deposit?

No deposit is needed for a funeral service. Payment is usually made once we’ve confirmed the ceremony details and everything is in place.

Are there any hidden costs?

None at all. I believe in transparency — the price we agree on is the price you’ll pay. Simple, clear, and fair.
